We received a letter from Charlies Soap (the company that manufactures the detergent we sell) about their products, and we thought we’d share it with our customers.

Quoted from the letter we received:

“Dear Charlie’s Soap customers,

What a year we have had – thanks to you guys. We are still here. Whoop!

Though we buy the finest, most expensive raw materials and really watch our quality, it wouldn’t mean a thing if you guys didn’t appreciate us and tell your buddies. I thought when I started this company I would finally be my own boss, but it turns out that now I have thousands and I couldn’t be more pleased with you guys. Your constant feedback has helped us grow to a point that we can ask our suppliers to pretty much keep our costs down. Times are not easy for any of us, but you folks make a great contribution and we really appreciate it. We only have to raise our prices a little to stay afloat and continue to give you the service and products you deserve. We wish we didn’t have to raise prices at all, but with fuel being a major factor in all costs, we are forced to pass some of that on to our customers. These price changes will take effect Monday, April 28, 2008.

It’s spring again. It’s about time, huh? Record cold everywhere. Time to shake out the cobwebs and get some real fresh air. And of course spring means “Spring Cleaning”, so it’s time to stock up on Charlie’s Soap!

Here are a couple of uses for Charlie’s Soap you might not have thought of. Put a mixture of half Charlie’s Soap All Purpose and half water in a garden sprayer. Spray down the side of your house with the mixture.

By the time you’re done with one wall, use a pressure washer or brush/garden hose combination to wipe away the winter in one shot. It won’t even hurt the blooming plants below. Also, if you’ve got nice soft water, toss a tablespoon of the Charlie’s Soap Laundry Powder into your dishwasher for environmentally friendly clean dishes.
